Triangular stem, glabrous leaf, long tapering leaf tip. Tubers not in a chain, normally yellow in color. Seedhead yellow in color.

Description

Considered one of world’s worst weeds. Cannot tolerate close repetitive mowing less than 1 to 2 inches. Often confused with purple nutsedge.
