Features
Perennial bulbous weed. Produces groups of singular leaves/stems. Leaves hollow with distinct garlic/onion type smell. Produces aerial bulblets in spring as means of vegetative dispersal.
Description
Common in winter in dormant warm-season turfgrass. Difficult to control with herbicides due to glabrous leaves to which herbicide spray has difficulty adhering.
