Features

Rhizomatous perennial. Trifoliate leaves with distinct white watermarking. Flower heads globe-shaped, white with >20 individual flowers. Easily mistaken as ball clover which is not rhizomatous.

Description

More prominent in spring and fall, with greatest flower numbers in spring. Tends to die back due to hot summers in the southeastern U.S. Difficult to distinguish between ball clover (a creeping annual) and white clover (a creeping perennial).
