Features

Low growing annual weed species, not exceeding 6 to 12 inches in height. Narrow, needle-like leaves. Flowers white, four petal occurring in axils of leaves.

Description

Also referred to as juniperleaf due to resemblance of leaves to that of juniper. Plant normally occurs on open or recently disturbed ground. Tolerant of lower fertility soils, drought conditions. Plant turn orange to red in color at maturity.
