Features

Annual herb. Plant green to purple throughout. Leaves opposite, ovate to cordate, crenate edges. Stems square. Mint-like smell when plant material crushed. Elongated flowering stem at apex of plant. Flowers small, white.

Description

Common in pasture forest edges. More adapted to partial shade to shaded areas. Plant is highly toxic to ruminants.
