Features

Dioecious plant with male and female flowers on different plants. Plant can have numerous branches, up to 6 feet tall, but often with a long spike on the central stem. Leaves are simple with long petiole. Stem green to red with ridges.

Description

One of the first annual plants to develop resistance to glyphosate. A problematic weed in crop production, especially Round-up Ready Crops.
