Annual, possible biennial decumbent legume. Leaves pinnately trifoliate, denticulate on top half of leaf. Inflorescence heads yellow, globose, 20 to 40 flowers with distinct striations on petals.
Description
Common winter annual weed of low and high maintenance turfgrass. Difficult to distinguish between Trifolium dubium. T. campestre inflorescence heads always have >20 flowers and flowers have distinct striations on the petals. T. dubium inflorescence heads can have 3 to 20 flowers and petals do not have distinct striations.
