Features
Large climbing vine. Trifoliate leaves, leaflets hand-sized, one to two large lobes. Due to the large size of leaflets, leaves may not initially appear trifoliate. Inflorescence of conical flowers pointing upwards. Individual flower bilaterally symmetrical, purple with yellow throat. Flowers in late summer with lower flowers opening first.
Description
Aggressive invasive plant species often overtopping trees and abandoned structures. Considered a late stage invasive species than can only be managed on a local/situation level and chances of eradication are improbable.
