Round or globe shaped spikes with variation in stalk length. Spikes can be dense to sparse with spikelets. Non-tuberous, regrows from crowns each year. Leaf blades stiff and glabrous.
Description
Tufted perennial sedge found more in low fertility habitats, such as pastures and roadsides. Does not tolerate low, frequent mowing.
