Description
Rhizomatous and stoloniferous perennial grass. Considered one of the world’s worst weeds. Height can vary greatly with cultivar. Common and forage types can reach 1.5 to 2 feet in height and produce spikes 30 to 40 cm tall. ‘Tifway’ and dwarf-types will not reach these heights if left unmowed and will likely die if allowed to grow unmanaged.
