Summer annual with bunch type growth habit; leaves glaborous arising from the base, except for downward pointing leaves that subtend the seedhead; white seedhead with one primary and one-three lower spikes.

Description

Often referred to as “Fragrant Kyllinga” due to its aromatic smell. More persistent in thin turfgrass areas. Often attributed to higher soil moisture, however can be found in xeric areas as well.
