Features

Annual dicot weed of turfgrass, ornamentals, and non-crop areas. Low-growing less than one foot tall. Multiple branching linear leaves. Lower leaves are slightly broader and more organized with definite parsley appearance. Stem and leaves thin, glabrous. Flowers in umbels (umbrella-like formation) with 5 to 12 flowers. Fruit spherical, very small with vertical lines. Flowers and fruit <3mm in diameter, white to yellow in color.

Description

Broadleaf weed becoming more prevalent in infrequently mowed turfgrass and landscape plantings. With the linear, parsley-like leaves this plant is normally easy to distinguish from other species.
